About us

Build in Public is a home for people who build things — founders, makers, developers, designers, students and creators — to document their journey as it happens.

Why we built this

Most builders learn the most in the 90% nobody sees — the false starts, pricing mistakes, quiet weeks. We built Build in Public so that 90% becomes shared knowledge, accountability and eventually, your own audience.

Our principles

• Progress is the content. Milestones & lessons over likes & vanity.
• You control your story. Private projects, private revenue, private profiles.
• Safety first. Real moderation, real reporting, real people.
• Runs anywhere. Plain PHP + MySQL — no lock-in, no build servers.
